Audrey Hepburn in Graphite pencils
A day guaranteed to offer lots of helpful advice that will help you achieve a highly detailed graphite portrait of the stunning Audrey Hepburn - a day for any Artist whether an absolute Beginner or an Intermediate with techniques taught that you can use in future pencil portraits.
As with all my Workshops, I begin a quick run through of the 'Do's & Dont's Checklist to ensure you will get the best out of the medium and then begin the first demonstration (there are between 5 and 6) Each demo helps to break the Workshop into bite size sections so you can work at your own pace and I will show you how each section is built up using a layering & erasing technique and which pencil grades you need to use and how best to apply these layers for best effect. As these workshops are only 6 hours long (with a break in between) it is highly unlikely that you will finish your drawing on the day and so an in-depth booklet is given out so that you can use as a guide during the Workshop and at home if you wish to complete your portrait. You can even save it, it may come in useful for future projects.
1 to 1 guidance is always available between each Demo or you can use the booklet as your guide if you prefer to work alone. There is no pressure for you to rush your portrait, simply go at your own pace.
